Levira and Horse1 have signed an agreement, whereby Levira starts playout of a new horse themed channel Horse1 for Nordic markets as of September 23rd.
Levira, one of the largest independent providers of TV playout and media management services in the Northern Europe, was selected by Horse1 to provide the playout service for its new linear TV-channel. “We are thrilled to sign this agreement with a new Scandinavian client Horse1 and appreciate their trust in us. We believe in a long term partnership and we will thus do utmost to make this partnership a success for both parties,” says Indrek Lepp, Director of Media Services of Levira.

Horse1 is a focused lifestyle pay-TV channel targeting the Equestrian markets in the Nordics. Horse1 broadcasts exclusive content, produced locally to specifically attract the target group in each market. Swedish Riders Trophy is a new showjumping league launching in Sweden in September 2013 and Ride to Rio a sport initiative with three talented riders to achieve their dreams and compete at the Olympic Games in 2016.
Horse1 offers live streaming and broadcasting up to 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. The channel offers also SvOD and catch up-service. At launch in September 2013 the channel shall be available at horse1.se and Telia IPTV.
